Direct Entry Solutions has launched a new version of its PostPort mail solution that allows wholesalers to see where their deliveries are in their distribution process.
It provides visibility on priority, non-priority and customised untracked mail for printers, mailing houses, fulfilment centres, mail consolidators and post rooms, reports Logistics Manager and Post & Parcel.
This documentation system can be used by multiple people without the requirement of physical paperwork and repetition that can be symptomatic of these distribution mailings.
Chief executive of Direct Entry Solutions Phil Coleman said: "We are always looking at new and better ways of doing things in the mail and parcel business."
He stated that they are "using the latest technology to give our wholesale customers control over their mailings".
It's hoped that with this transparent platform that clients will be able to perform their operations more efficiently and so following provide their customers with a better service.
