John Lewis has begun a new recruitment drive for its third distribution centre, which is set to open at Magna Park 3 in Milton Keynes.
The retailer will aim to hire 60 new employees at its distribution centre where it will handle large electrical equipment, appliances, furniture and homeware, reports Logistics Manager.
Terry Murphy, director of national distribution centres at John Lewis, spoke of his excitement at expanding Magna Park. He said that the new distribution centre at Milton Keynes is "absolutely crucial to ensure a seamless omni-channel experience for our customers".
Mr Murphy added that it is imperative to hire people at the centre who can effectively manage the process for the company.
This marks the third centre of distribution that the retailer has opened in this area, with the first being Magna Park 1, which opened in 2009.
