Food manufacturing supplier Kent Foods has just bought a 37,200 sq ft unit at a development in Avonmouth.
Although the manufacturer hasn't said how much it paid for the unit, Kent said that it's located at the St Modwen's Access 18 site, reports Logistics Manager.
Speaking on the purchase, Pete Davies, senior development manager for St Modwen in the south-west, said: "Access 18 continues to progress with the recent handover of the 43,000 sq ft bespoke unit to Hermes Parcelnet and now the sale of this speculative building to Kent Foods Limited."
He added that work is already taking place at another two units at the development, which provides between 33,570 to 68,350 sq ft of warehouse accommodation for clients in total.
Kent Foods will be moving into its allocated units in September and October of this year, while those who would like to occupy the space are able to purchase other units now.
