Proserve Logistics has expanded with the purchase of additional space at Wrexham Industrial Estate after securing a six-figure funding package from NatWest. The move follows a period of growth for the company, which provides logistics services for businesses to help maximise the performance, efficiency and reliability of their processes. The new 48,000 sq ft site includes a new head office and storage space, adding to its current capabilities of 200,000 sq ft. It also includes land for further expansion, scheduled for 2017, with Proserve planning to build a state-of the art unit with high-bay pallet packing capabilities. Samantha Arnold, co-director of Proserve Logistics, said: "By owning our own premises we have the flexibility and capabilities to invest in creating a modern warehousing facility offering the highest standards in logistics to our customers who operate throughout the UK. "We can also introduce leaner processes and find efficiencies which we can pass on to our customers with competitive pricing. "We hadn't been looking for a new site but when we saw the unit had become available on the same industrial estate where we were based, we knew it was the right fit at the right time." Mark Hughes, senior relationship manager at NatWest, supported the business working in partnership with Jeff Cummins, lending director at NatWest.
