Well-known convenience food group Greencore is set to feature in Food Manufacture's webinar on 26th April.
The seminar, which will take place via webcam for wide-ranging broadcasting will last one hour and will concentrate on lean and green food and drink manufacturing and evaluation processes, reports Food Manufacture.
Helen Sisson, group technical director of Greencore, is going to be explaining how the company has been using lean production techniques to improve its energy efficiency.
Similarly, she will be talking about how Greencore has managed to cut costs and make savings throughout the entire business.
Ms Sisson said: "One of the key aims, which is encapsulated in The Greencore Way, is to maximise our business effectiveness through operating as a lean enterprise right across the supply chain."
By doing this, Greencore has seen an increase in its growth and overall performance, which Ms Sisson says is also due to the company's focus on sustainability.
