Logistics company DHL is partnering up with Charge, a British automotive technology company to provide Formula E with electric forklifts.
The businesses will be supplying these to Formula E circuits all over the world, reports Logistics Manager.
Formula E is a motorsport formula that has its main event in Berlin, but the first of the electric forklift trucks will be unveiled at the Paris Formula E this month (April).
It's hoped that the trucks will prove to be extremely useful for the transport and logistics of the race cars on and off track.
Denis Sverdlov, chief executive officer of Charge, said: "This partnership allows us to work closely with leading logistics companies like DHL where we can showcase our technology."
He continued on to add that this technology has the capability to "revolutionise" fleets and will result in "huge savings to their businesses and improve their social and environmental impact".
