3T wins JCB contract renewal

3T Logistics has won a contract renewal with JCB, the construction equipment manufacturers. The new contract will run until 2018.

The logistics company will work alongside JCB’s service division and will provide transport management systems for JCB in France, Czech Republic and the USA, as well as in the UK. 3T will also provide a full TMS system, automated barcode labelling, track and trace at part level, as well as a customer facing business intelligence platform.

“We have established a great rapport with JCB over the years that we have worked with them and are delighted to be continuing to help them manage what is obviously a complex transport operation,” comments Tim Fawkes, managing director of 3T Logistics. “JCB Service prides itself on offering a fast turnaround and aims to fulfill 95% availability of all urgent parts within 24 hours, meaning that speed and customer service are two key deliverables.”
