12 July 2016/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Logistics & Supply Chain

Space-Time Insight, Inc., the leading provider of situational intelligence solutions, has extended its European leadership team to manage growth throughout the region, with particular emphasis on the UK and Germany. The additional skills and experience will enable Space-Time Insight to better serve existing customers and partners, as well as drive strategic growth in these key territories.

Neil Barry joins the company as a Senior Sales Director EMEA. With 20 years’ experience in the software industry, including roles at Oracle, EMC and venture-backed business intelligence specialist Jaspersoft through to its acquisition by TIBCO in 2014, he is responsible for leading growth and expansion in the EMEA region.

In the last year, Space-Time Insight has grown revenues by 70 percent and now works with more than 30 organisations from asset-intensive industries globally, including Thames Water and E.ON in EMEA. It recently completed the acquisition of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company GOFACTORY to strengthen its leadership in real-time visual analytics with the addition of proven IIoT technologies and industry expertise.

“Analytics is rapidly becoming indispensable in business, industry and our daily lives, and I see huge potential throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa for unique software-based propositions like situational intelligence,” commented Neil Barry, Senior Sales Director EMEA. “We are committed to growing our existing customer relationships as well as looking for new opportunities across a diverse range of industries including utilities, transport, logistics, telecoms and public sector.”

Barry is joined by Patricia de Boer, Business Development Manager EMEA and Robin McArthur, Senior Account Executive in the UK. De Boer has over 17 years’ experience working with leading OEMs, global service providers and high-tech companies across EMEA, USA and BRIC. McArthur brings more than 20 years’ experience helping companies in the retail, telecoms and utilities sectors achieve their business objectives through big data and predictive analytics.
