The Delivery Group reports 55 per cent revenue increase for 2015

25 July 2016/Categories: Industry News

The Delivery Group turned over £124 million in 2015, despite only forming in March that year.

The post and parcel operator was formed after bringing together the operations of Secured Mail Express and the CMS Network (London) - employs 350 staff over three locations in London, Luton and Warrington.

The £124 million turnover for 2015 marked a 55 per cent increase on 2014’s revenue for the two companies.

Secured Mail is a highly automated downstream access mail and ecommerce logistics operator, while CMS specialises in managed mail and international courier services in the financial and media sectors.

Group chairman Paul Carvell said: “2015 was a very successful year for the group and on the strength of the growth and opportunities in the group’s core markets, we have increased our sales and account management teams to continue our growth into 2016.”

May saw the Delivery Group invest in a new high-tech sortation system, with innovative software that can read typed and handwritten addresses.

Steve Stokes, CEO of CMS Network, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for us and we are confident that our customers will benefit from this investment.”
