CILT(UK) LEVEL 3 AWARD IN LOCAL AUTHORITY PASSENGER TRANSPORT PLANNING AND PROVISION
The CILT(UK) Level 3 Award in Local Authority Passenger Transport Planning and Provision is a single unit qualification developed in partnership with the Association of Transport Coordinating Officers (ATCO) and designed to provide an understanding of the activities undertaken by local authority passenger transport officers in planning, directing and providing transport and associated services.
Upon completion of the Level 3 Award learners can progress to the CILT(UK) Level 3 Certificate in Local Authority Passenger Transport Planning and Provision qualification which will include two additional mandatory units in Business Theory and Business Application.

The qualification comprises one mandatory unit.
This unit seeks to help equip practitioners with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective and efficient services that meet the identified needs of local communities. As well as technical capabilities, the unit also aims to develop learners’ abilities to contribute to the authority’s aims and objectives in respect of passenger transport provision.

The guided learning hours for this Award are 80.
The registration period, during which a learner should complete the qualification, is one year.
