Public Policy Committee

Chairman: Sue Terpilowski OBE

The Public Policy Committee is an active player in the logistics and transport policy field. We make regular submissions on current issues to the UK Government, European Commission and other bodies, and publish reports and papers which review current issues.

Most CILT(UK) reports and papers are prepared by specialist Forums, reporting to the Public Policies Committee. These groups are made up of high-calibre, experienced individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Overall responsibility for CILT(UK) policy development sits with the Public Policies Committee; the Committee discusses major issues, monitors progress of Forum studies, and approves reports for publication.

The membership of this group includes senior professionals from business, public authority and research bodies. This ensures a wide-ranging debate, addressing all aspects of the topics concerned, whilst remaining unbiased. It is currently seeking volunteers from the logistics sector.
