The partnership between APICS and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT(UK)) provides increased availability of education, certification and membership programmes for professionals in operations and supply chain management throughout the United Kingdom.

APICS is now part of the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). They aim to provide the industry-leading APICS certifications and training. They are also expanding to deliver end-to-end professional development and education offerings through our global network of thought leadership partnerships and alliances.

CILT(UK) is pleased to announce that they have now secured Premier Channel Partner status and as such are a supplier of choice for those organisations and individuals seeking the APICS designations.

The partnership brings a range of internationally recognised products to the UK, this includes the very popular:

Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), a programme designed to broaden and test candidates’ in-depth knowledge of a variety of subjects specific to production and inventory management;

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) extends beyond internal operations to encompass all steps throughout the supply chain.

APICS

The Association for Operations Management is a global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its training, internationally recognised certifications, comprehensive resources, and a worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals covering all aspects of operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing and logistics.

APICS in-house training

Facilitated through a series of online digital classrooms with guided independent participant study in between sessions, CILT (UK) are able to provide in-house training for the APICS CPIM Part One and part Two.

Timescales vary depending on which APICS certification you are trying to achieve.

The CPIM is taught across two modules taught over 10 days altogether. Some independent study is also required to pass the exams:
