The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK is delighted to publish its strategy to Professionalise the Profession. This strategic direction over the coming years will strengthen and grow the Institute, enabling CILT(UK) to deliver on its core charitable objectives. Read more below.

Charitable Objectives
1) Promote, encourage and co-ordinate the study and advancement of the science and art of logistics and transport, in all forms 2) Assist and further the development of logistics and transport in the interests of and benefit to society in general 3) Facilitate and deliver the opportunity for education, experience, debate, the sharing of ideas and access to information to all.

Enable positive, long-lasting and mutually-beneficial relationships across our community which increase personal fulfilment through effective delivery of value to organisations and individuals
2) Shape & Deliver Professional Products & Services
Enhance the capability and knowledge of individuals and organisations through a focused suite of professional products and services that are recognised by the profession and add value to members and their careers
3) Share Insight & Amplify Impact
Empower and facilitate impact through the provision of thought-leadership, technical guidance, knowledge and an effective marketing and communications strategy
