Drivetech, a business wholly owned by the AA, serves the business driver community in the UK and internationally providing a range of driver risk management and driver training services, and is also the UK's largest provider of police diversionary training courses working with 34 police forces across the country. Founded in 1990, Drivetech champions a Vision Zero approach of “working together to eliminate road death and serious injury”.

Within our fleet/driver risk management business, Drivetech offers a range of services from an initial fleet risk health check to licence checking, online driver assessments, online e-learning programmes, on road driver coaching, plus a whole range of other services including workshops, special bespoke client driver days and more. All services are designed to improve the road risk profile of any business that has people driving for or on business, helping to provide the organisation with a clear duty of care, supporting Health & Safety requirements for Driving at Work, and helps to reduce costs associated with vehicle collisions. The business embraces passenger car, LCV, HGV, coach and bus drivers and has an enviable reputation and a broad client base with some large customers in the logistics and transport space. Drivetech offers specialist 4x4 courses and a choice of Driver CPC courses, and also embraces new powertrain technologies with electric and plug-in electric hybrid vehicle training. It has also recently become an end point assessment organisation for apprentices in the coach, bus and tram sector. The business operates in the UK and has an International division dealing with blue-chip clients who have multi-country operations.
