CCWEL is the City Centre West East Link, a segregated cycle-way across the centre of Edinburgh whose first stretch from Roseburn to Haymarket is now complete. As well as promoting safe cycling, the project benefits other road-users by renewing street furniture, rationalising provision for parking and loading, and generally improving the local environment. Rurigdh will tell us about the challenges that the project has faced, including how best to engage with the community so that they could co-design these improvements.
