Description: When: 19th March 2024, 18.00 - 19.30 Where: Zoom Webinar Speaker: Evette Prout and David Emery
Up until recently, offsite build accounted for just 2% of the construction market, but the sector is rapidly expanding. Offsite construction is proven to embrace sustainability, cost-efficiency, adaptability, customisable designs, and reduce site disruption.
The talk will host 2 speakers who will shed light on the critical challenges faced by the 'traditional' construction industry and the benefits of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), particularly Offsite Construction. There will be ample time for Q&A in this exciting new area.
For the CILT community, the development of offsite will create opportunities in transportation and logistics lean-based manufacturing, and operational excellence.
