Speaker: Dave Pickering FCILT, Chief Operating Officer, Eddie Stobart

If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the country’s most well-known logistics company, then this visit is for you. You will have the chance to visit Eddie Stobart's innovative head office in Warrington. As well as being home to their service support teams, their training academy is located there which caters for induction training, driver CPCs, management courses and much more. You will get to see where new vehicles are prepared with the distinctive Eddie Stobart livery (including the famous female names) and subsequently decommissioned after 2-3 years of service.

Their Chief Operating Officer, David Pickering, will share the latest news about the company, following their listing on the London Stock Exchange earlier this year, and you will get the chance to see how a long-haul driver, or 'Tramper' as they are known internally, lives during their week on the road.

The event is being hosted by the Cheshire group but members of other North West groups are welcome.

Refreshments and a light buffet will be provided.

Please note this event will be vetted and photography will be allowed.
