JJX Logistics, the Kingswinford based Time Critical Logistics provider, has enjoyed the challenges of growth across its UK and European services in the past 12 months. Never content in standing still, JJX has invested in its current and future demands of storage and warehousing services in securing a new 150,000 sq ft site on the Pensnett Trading Estate. A secure facility with 4 units that enables segregation of its Chemical, Aerospace and Healthcare storage contracts, and exciting plans for Temperature controlled storage.
Brexit has created demand in the market for additional storage capacities, with such uncertainty in stock piles and access to critical material in the case of a hard Brexit, there has been a sharp increase in demand for reliable services to cope with the increased volumes as clients prepare for the worst-case scenario.
It has long since been JJX intentions to consolidate its warehousing activities, which due to incredible growth across 2018 saw JJX, with the support of their landlords at LCP, take on the short-term lease of 3 additional properties on the Pensnett Estate. As JJX settle into its new home, not only will it increase pallet space count to over 10,000 positions, it will also improve its efficiencies in operating from a single secure site.
Apprenticeship schemes remain vital to the future of JJX and the Logistics Industry as a whole. Being a corporate member of CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport), the company has a keen interest in the development of tomorrows stars. JJX have developed many young talents who continue to evolve its current service provision. Pictured is Liam Tully, who thrives on the energy of the industry and adapts to the demanding requirements within a team of 65 at JJX.
JJX opened its doors in the Heathrow market in September 2018, servicing HazChem deliveries to the airport area with nationwide delivery capability for Dangerous Goods.
Furthermore, JJX Heathrow is based within a bonded customs facility, that supports its visions for growth within Europe, even with the uncertain terrain due to Brexit. Capability to process customs requirements for import and export goods, within its European network, allows for reliable solutions available to JJX clients.
France, Germany, Benelux and beyond, JJX services these key markets with its own employed drivers and vehicles 24/7 with both dedicated and scheduled solutions.
Successful achievement in the re-accreditation in ISO 9001 & 14001 standards is testimony to the quality of staff within the ranks at JJX, for which the founder and Managing Director remains very proud of.
With new Traffic and Warehouse management systems in full flow at a rejuvenated JJX, the future is very bright for this family concern and they welcome any enquiries on their services through the usual channels.
