Glen Davies FCILT will be taking an associate role within CILT to lead on special projects in the fields of freight transport, city logistics, environment and safety. One of the aims of CILT is to raise standards within the profession and Glen’s appointment brings a wealth of experience in urban freight policy, operating standards and professional development that will further develop the Institute’s strategy and output.
Glen joins the CILT after over 30 years in both operational and strategic logistics roles and has a track record of delivering a portfolio of award winning projects and programmes that have stimulated some pioneering industry change. Glen is a champion for safer and lower emission commercial vehicles and has worked with vehicle operators, manufacturers, regulators and campaign groups to develop practical solutions to address some of the industry’s most emotive issues.
