ERP software provider IFS and AEB, a specialist provider of IT solutions in supply chain management (SCM), logistics and global trade are joining forces by integrating AEB solutions into the IFS Applications software. The cooperation’s main focus is on international customs processing – e.g. in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden – and on global trade compliance (including sanctions list screening and export controls), as well as on the management of origin and preferences.
The integration of the two software solutions adds significant value to customers across industry sectors worldwide. The close link between the IFS Applications ERP and AEB‟s SCM and GTM software suite ASSIST4 supports companies‟ processes in global trade and logistics. The smooth data transfer between the two systems via standard interfaces facilitates easy analyses and evaluations. It also ensures greater efficiency and security for customs management, export controls, transport management, and management of origin and preferences.
For AEB, the partnership with IFS, a company with a worldwide presence, is a logical next step in its internationalisation strategy. “We have already completed numerous projects together with IFS and are looking forward to the official partnership as a new basis for our successful future collaboration,” says Jens Beck, Partner Manager at AEB. “By integrating the two solutions we are offering our customers real added-value. The cooperation is also of great importance to AEB‟s internationalisation strategy. We are anticipating, for example, new impulses for our offices in Sweden and the United Kingdom, based on IFS‟ strong position in Scandinavia and its established operations in the UK.”
For IFS, the combination of solutions adds value through powerful global trade functionality for IFS ERP Applications users. Partnerships are essential in the global IFS network and the latest collaboration with AEB further complements its continuously growing IFS ecosystem. “We are very happy about the addition of AEB to our partner programme and look forward to our continued and successful collaboration”, says Hans Juergen Schoepf, Director Alliances & Business Development at IFS Europe Central. “The consistent development of our partner network extends IFS„s services portfolio to include experienced and certified providers. And our customers benefit from an increasing number of powerful, integrated solutions to optimise their business processes.”
