The Royal Logistic Corps ‘Silver Stars’ Parachute Display team is looking to conduct new displays for the 2017 season.  The 'Silver Stars' is a diverse team and are currently manned by both Regular Army and Army Reserve Personnel.

This is a part-time team that aims to conduct a minimum of 25 parachute displays per year following a pre-season training camp that takes place during April each year. Team members come from a wide variety of logistics backgrounds such as transport, supply, postal, air-movements, and port and maritime.

The display events consist of a mixture of civilian and military events such as air shows; military armed forces activities, horse race events-some-of which have been televised, charity and religious functions, and anniversaries.

The team is also actively looking for sponsorship, anything up to £5,000 is ideal and is used to help with purchasing new equipment as well as training costs and would prefer to receive assistance from a logistics organisation.  From a sponsor’s perspective there are several ways in which the organisation will see its company brand/logo being displayed, examples of which can be discussed with the team manager.
