Meet employers from the logistics and transport sectors providing opportunities in supply chain management, transport planning, operations management and a range of graduate placements.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is gearing up to host its first ever LIVE Virtual Careers Fair. This interactive Careers Fair will be streamed live on CILT’s Facebook page on Wednesday 22nd November at 18:00hrs.
CILT’s LIVE Virtual Careers Fair will include presentations, live talks and question and answer opportunities. Registration is FREE and open to all students looking for a career in the ever-evolving world of logistics and transport.
Students will be able to interact with prominent recruiters, leading organisations and high-profile industry professionals from the comfort of their own home, at no cost, and will gain a head start in understanding the profession and learn more about the opportunities available within the worlds of logistics and transport.
Companies including DHL Supply Chain, Sainsbury’s, Logistics Learning Alliance and XPO Logistics and will be on hand to answer your questions directly in real time using our online chat technology.
Qualified logistics specialists are in short supply worldwide and, while there are too few well-trained executives in the logistics sector, there is also a lack of qualified staff at operational level. CILT is aiming to work with leading organisations from around the world to promote the profession to students and inspire and engage with the next generation of logistics and transport professionals.
CILT has recently established a working partnership with Tresham College, and its media team and students will be on hand to facilitate this ground-breaking and innovative Virtual Careers Fair.
Richard Atkinson, Director of Marketing and Communications, CILT, says: “This is an exciting and, potentially, highly rewarding event to attend and I encourage as many students as possible to get on board. The logistics and transport profession is an innovative, fast-paced and challenging industry and we need as many young minds as possible to be open to the idea of working within this great profession.
“We are delighted to be working with our local college to put on this event and we hope it’s the start of an innovate and prosperous relationship.”
Students can register online for this free, career-changing fair and ensure that their details are given to top industry recruiters.
