Software provider AEB unveils new identity

07 June 2018/Categories: CILT, Industry News, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain, Corporate News

As the world of global trade and logistics turns, and the software market evolves, AEB – a leading provider of global trade and supply chain management software solutions – is evolving along with it. With a new brand identity, a reorganised portfolio – and the same proven strengths. Check out the new website at www.aeb.com.

The software sector has seen profound changes lately – a circumstance all too familiar to those in the logistics industry. Geoff Taylor, Managing Director of AEB in the UK explains: “The future in global trade, logistics, and IT is increasingly dynamic and continually evolving. Businesses seek a software partner that can provide reliable, proactive, and collaborative support in this process of change. People want cloud-based software products that offer quick and reliable solutions to the challenges in global trade and logistics, and which quickly evolve to accommodate changing demands in the market.”

In order to respond to the changes customers and partners are facing, AEB have realigned their solution portfolio to today’s market, revamped their brand identity, reorganised their cloud products, and developed a highly flexible software platform. Customers will find it easier to select solutions based on their individual needs and bundle them into smart packages.

AEB’s new nEXt software platform looks at the defined needs of businesses in global trade and logistics and draws upon the available apps and APIs in the AEB Cloud to design smooth processes with flexible workflows. The result is a genuine competitive advantage. “Users get a solution built upon best-practice templates – and so easy to customise that they can even make the adaptations themselves,” notes Geoff Taylor. “The software services deliver the desired functionality and stability.”

Change is inevitable – but not everything has to change. That’s particularly true for tried-and-tested AEB systems and solutions. “For customers currently using AEB’s ASSIST4 and XPRESS solutions, nothing will change,” explains Geoff Taylor. “Both product families will continue to be maintained, developed, and supported as before. And our customers will get to benefit from the refinements of the new products, solutions, technologies, user experience, and process models.”

AEB’s new website now also reflects this new approach and positioning: At the newly launched www.aeb.com, visitors can quickly and easily familiarise themselves with AEB and their portfolio, and determine which solution is right for them. The AEB Magazine offers important breaking news from the world of global trade and logistics, so it’s always worthwhile to stop by and visit.
