Not sure where to make the most of your logistics and transport career? You could be employed as an RAF Supply, Storage & Distribution Specialist; you will be a key element of RAF Logistics. You will play a vital role in the delivery of logistical supply support required by the RAF to fulfil its operational and peacetime obligations. Suppliers are responsible for the Storage and Distribution of a wide range of commodities such as aircraft/vehicle spares, fuel, explosives and ammunition and many others. As a Logistic Supplier, you will use computerised stock control systems, modern storage solutions and operate mechanical handling equipment i.e. Forklift Trucks of various sizes. You will have opportunities to work in specialist areas and be involved in the delivery of urgently required equipment in support of UK tasks and most importantly, operations. You can be employed either at home on one of the RAF’s Main Operating Bases, or be assigned to an overseas location, or wherever UK Armed Forces are employed on exercises or operations
