DSV in the UK was recently awarded a two-year contract with GEO Specialty Chemicals to provide domestic and multimarket export fulfilment services for chemicals manufactured at the company’s state of the art production facility in Hythe, Southampton.
The contract, which will run from April 2018 to April 2020, with the possibility to extend by a further one year, was won in a competitive tender process by DSV Road and DSV Air & Sea and includes domestic and international road freight, air freight and sea freight volumes, as well as warehousing services. This business win follows a strategic move by DSV to grow its share of the Chemical market in the UK.
