Menzies Aviation, the global aviation services specialist, announces new ground-handling contracts with Canadian leisure airline Sunwing at two North American locations.

The three-year contracts include a renewal at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida and a major new contract win at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Both contracts encompass passenger services, ramp handling and cabin cleaning. 
 
Sunwing is a Canadian leisure airline headquartered in Toronto, offering services from Canada to 73 destinations across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. 
 
Orlando International Airport offers a seasonal Sunwing service between December and April, whilst Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is Sunwing’s largest location, adding 4,600 new aircraft turnarounds per year to Menzies Aviation’s portfolio. To ensure a successful startup to this operation, the hiring of 300 new Menzies Aviation employees is well underway at the station. 
 
The new contract win at Toronto Pearson International is the 57th to be announced in 2018 for Menzies Aviation’s ground-handling operations.
