FedEx offers £20,000 to give small businesses a boost

31 October 2018/Categories: CILT, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain

With nearly 30% of UK SMEs requiring funding simply to stay afloat, FedEx Express is offering £20,000 to help small and medium enterprises go global.

As the livelihood of the UK economy, SMEs contribute more than £200bn a year, with this number expected to grow by almost 20% by 2025. Without a vital cash injection, SMEs are at risk of failure.

As a result, through the Small Business Grant, FedEx will help small and medium enterprises across the UK realise their international potential by providing a platform for SMEs to go global, explore international markets and expand their horizons.

Providing an opportunity for SMEs to enter global markets, the Small Business Grant enables businesses to overcome market challenges and focus on their international expansion.
