CILT is pleased to announce that four leading organisations from the rail sector have joined the Institute as Corporate Members.
The Department of Transport – Passenger Services, The UK Rail Advisory Group, The Rail Delivery Group and Stagecoach Rail have all come on board to ensure the Institute’s aim of attracting industry leaders in every sector it represents is firmly on track.
Since its merger with CILT, the Railway Study Forum (RSF) has helped to attract a range of operators and organisations from the profession through its industry leading events, providing access to an unrivalled network of experts.
The RSF enables members to engage and network with like-minded Rail Sector professionals, ranging from
operations, finance, commercial, engineering, business planning, project management, marketing and consultancy.
Members exchange of experiences, knowledge and opinions on issues relating to all aspects of the railway industry is facilitated by a wide variety of formal lectures, followed by question and answer sessions, seminars, and study visits.
Neil Micklethwaite, President, RSF, said: “Our merger with CILT was somewhat of a soft launch. However, it is now time to hard-wire ourselves into CILT to realise the benefits for both parties and fulfil the reasons why we merged. We have been tireless in advocating CILT Corporate Membership so that organisations across the rail profession can enjoy the benefits of the Institute”.
Helen Hardy, Director of Membership, CILT, said: “We are delighted to welcome such respected organisations into Corporate Membership. I am sure that we will continue to add further value to highly knowledgeable rail professionals through access to our active rail forums and excellent networking opportunities across CILT’s
national, regional and sector-specific events throughout the year.”
