Working in partnership with Nimble Media Ltd, the company responsible for delivering the Big Rail Diversity Challenge, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is proud to announce that in 2019, a similar event will be dedicated to the Logistics & Transport professions to promote their vision of improving Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across the sectors.

The Big Logistics & Transport Diversity Challenge will form part of the CILT centenary initiatives, supporting Aspire, a charitable careers foundation within CILT (UK) that provides funded opportunities for education, training and development to UK and international applicants.

The inaugural ‘Big Logistics & Transport Diversity Challenge’ will take place on 26th June 2019 at Newark Showground. A cross between “It’s a Knockout” and “Krypton Factor” the event consists of a series of fun team challenges, set to demonstrate the importance of diversity within the Logistics and Transport sectors, and the business benefits attained when companies improve EDI.

Teams will compete in a series of challenges to include: Archery, Goggle Football, Bounce Volleyball, Walk the Plank, A Night at the Movies, Laser Clay Shoot, Hungry Hippos, The Unclimbable Ladder and many more. Diversity: Better for People, Better for Profit, Better for the Profession
This action packed Fun Day will see you working together to prove that diverse teams really do work better together. To demonstrate that it is an all-inclusive event there will always be a set of challenges available to accommodate people with disabilities / special requirements in mind to ensure that everyone is able to participate. 

Each team will be made up of 10 members. The teams should represent a diverse cross section of your workforce or, where it is made up with a group of companies, the profession.
