CILT members that have a CPC requirement are encouraged to support a case for CPC Training Data to be made available to employers. It is hoped that the findings from
ADLV’s latest survey will prove pivotal in ensuring that useful training information is made available to you and your colleagues in the future.
This survey is the second of its type to be run by the ADLV. The first provided conclusive evidence of the benefits that would arise if a drivers’ CPC and tachocard expiry dates were added to their online driver record. This resulted in the data being added to the DVLA Driver Record at no extra cost in April 2017.
The next logical step, is to have the course and attendance data added to the same record or made available through other channels in a simple bulk online format. There appears to be huge support for this from operators however the ADLV require proof of this and as before are required to provide a business case.
ADLV are therefore asking CILT members to complete this important short
survey.
ADLV will publish a summary of the report findings on their
website.
