In conjunction with CILT, Siemens Digital Logistics is hosting the Supply Chain Digitalisation Conference 2020 - a roundtable event - at the Manufacturing Technology Centre, Coventry on Wednesday 22nd April.
According to Phil Lavin, Development Consultant IT at Siemens, for Supply Chain and Logistics Managers looking at how digitalisation can transform supply chains, add value to business and gain a competitive advantage this joint event should not be missed. ‘Embracing digital transformation, seven speakers with strong experience in supply chain and logistics from varying industries will present innovative use cases, supply chain advancements, share individual experience and take questions from delegates. Speakers will discuss their own digital journeys, the pitfalls and challenges of digitalising supply chains, new technology, old-fashioned values and fear of change,’ he said.
Presenting at the conference, Siemens will be joined by senior Supply Chain and Logistics representatives from Costa Coffee, Coca Cola, Heathrow Airport, SMMT, Siemens Digital Industries Software and Supplien Consulting. Papers include Digitising an Expanded Heathrow, The Digitalisation of the Automotive Supply Chain, How can you use IOT and Blockchain to you advantage? and Improving the Digitalisation of Supply Chains.
