Over the next three days, The Department for International Trade (DFIT) are running a series of webinars to help businesses through coronavirus.
With many businesses evolving to support Covid-19, these webinars are designed to help you understand more about the international logistics and movement of goods during the disruption of Covid-19.
The first webinar, Logistics and movement of goods during Covid-19 takes place on Wednesday 20th May at 10.00hrs.
You will receive expert advice on which routes to market, freight services and costs still exist or are likely to change, to help you export during this time of uncertainty. This will be followed by a Q&A session where whether you are a new or experienced exporter, you will have the opportunity to put questions directly to experts and receive advice to support your business.
With Covid-19 causing a significant disruption, some companies are looking further afield to more challenging markets. On Thursday 21st May industry experts will lead a webinar on Risk management when considering new markets.
This webinar is designed to provide you with practical steps on how you can create an export risk management plan to help you increase your resilience when exporting when exporting to new markets. Whether you are a new or experienced exporter, you will also receive expert advice to help you identify and mitigate against potential risks including corruption, bribery, non-payment and cyber-crime. This will be followed by a Q&A session where you will have the opportunity to put questions directly to our expert and receive specific advice for your business.
Finally, on Friday 22nd May at 14.30hrs, the DFIT is presenting its third webinar: Managing disruption of supply chains during Covid-19.
This webinar will provide practical advice to help you respond to international supply chain disruptions during Covid-19. You will receive expert advice on mapping your current supply chains, an insight into highlighting and forecasting risk areas, and will learn how to develop strategic contingency plans for your business. Whether you are a new or experienced exporter, this webinar will also feature a Q&A session with our experts where you will have the opportunity to receive advice to support your business.
