Proximity alerts where you need them
 
To help workers—on the assembly line or in the distribution center— maintain proper distance from each other, the new ProGlove Connect Proximity app provides an additional layer of feedback. It works on an Android device alone or when paired with a ProGlove MARK wearable barcode scanner.

When the individual workers are personally equipped with the Android and MARK devices they’re alerted at close proximity. The alerts come to the workers via a mix of options on the wearable scanner including sound, light, and vibration. This is important in a busy or noisy shop floor environment where a phone alert alone could be easily missed.

The tool for social distance
 
ProGlove Connect Proximity is in development. In phase one of our software initiative our goal is to help people manage safe social distancing. In phase two, device-level proximity data will be made available in aggregate in a connected software application. This will make it easy for managers to identify bottlenecks in the warehouse and plan for modifications to layouts, schedules or workflows.
