CHEP has won a new three-year contract with leading baby goods manufacturer Munchkin.
The contract will see CHEP supply pallets for Munchkin, ensuring that their products are widely available and ready to be picked, including through major ecommerce retail fulfillment centers across the UK.
Established in 1991, Munchkin has grown to become a globally recognised brand in the ultra-competitive baby products market, specialising in goods including feeding, safety, travel and bath time.
Matthew Snowden, Operations Manager, Munchkin said: “Due to increasing demand for our products we felt the time was right to partner with a pallet pooling specialist to use its platforms and ensure our goods get to our partner’s distribution centres in the most effective and efficient way possible.
“CHEP has an outstanding reputation in the marketplace, particularly within FMCG and retail, and we had no hesitation in engaging their services which we are confident will add value throughout our supply chain and into the entire network.”
With a wide range of supply chain platforms, CHEP works with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) all the way up to household name businesses and international brands.
Matt Quinn, CHEP Vice-President, Northern Europe said: “It’s great to see CHEP working with brands like Munchkin, helping to ensure their products are readily available across the ever growing e-commerce channel. We are looking forward to helping them to grow and expand by driving value through efficiency, agility and sustainability across every part of their supply chain.”
