Bus services in south-east London are to be boosted, with Transport for London (TfL) increasing the frequency of the 124 and 185 routes.
Route 124's capacity has been boosted by 20 per cent, with the frequency of services increasing from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes during Monday to Saturday.
The service has also been increased on Sundays and every evening, from a bus every 20 minutes to one every 15 minutes, under changes that took effect from October 25th.
Route 185 is to have its capacity boosted by 25 per cent and will see its frequency increased from a bus every 10 minutes to one every eight minutes during Monday to Saturday. These changes are to take effect from November 1st.
John Barry, TfL's head of network development for buses, said: "This is great news for our passengers in south east London - capacity on these routes has increased significantly."
