Virgin Atlantic has announced the launch of new services between Glasgow and Orlando, beginning next summer.
An extra 3,500 seats will be available on the route as a result of the eight additional return flights to Florida, with four of these in the busy summer holiday period.
The flights are to be made on a Boeing 747-400, which has 455 seats in total, including 14 Upper Class and 66 Premium Economy. Seats for this new service are to go on sale on October 3rd.
Joe Thompson, director of network and alliances at Virgin Atlantic, said: "We added 14,000 seats to this service between 2013 and 2014 and are excited to be able to help meet customer demand by increasing capacity even further for 2015."
Earlier this year, Virgin Atlantic announced the introduction of a new service to Las Vegas from Glasgow in September and October 2015.
