A CILT member and a PhD student at Manchester Metropolitan University is researching the current Transport System in Manchester and would like to hear your views to assist their research.
Their research involves assessing the socio-economic impact of the Trafford Park Metro line as well as the Our Pass scheme. The primary aim is to analyse the social and economic impact that these initiatives will bring to Greater Manchester. This research project is being funded by Manchester Metropolitan University.
This survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
The student understands that meaningful data will be difficult to attain in the coming months due to the restrictions surrounding transport. However, they will be including the results of this survey in their data collection, by taking a 'what if' perspective, i.e. what if there were no restrictions, would the Trafford line seek to provide sustainable economic and social opportunities for its users.
The PhD student is also interested in hearing from some of the respondents through an interview off the back of their survey responses. If you would like to take part in this interview click here to register your interest.
