A major new park-and-ride scheme has been given the go-ahead by planning authorities in Leeds.
The £8.5 million, 1,000-space facility will be the city's second major park-and-ride and is to be located on Temple Green Road, which lies within the Aire Valley Enterprise Zone, BBC News reports.
According to Leeds City Council, the new site is expected to be up and running by 2016, with buses to the centre every 15 minutes.
It will be one of the first initiatives to be funded through the West Yorkshire Combined Authority's transport fund, which was established in April to provide £1.6 billion of investment in West Yorkshire's infrastructure over the next 15 years.
An 800-space park-and-ride facility at Elland Road opened in June, while a smaller site is located in King Lane to the north of the city.
