The Freight Transport Association (FTA) is working closely with Tower Transit Operations Ltd to ensure the firm, and its engineering staff in particular, is operating to a high standard.
Tower Transit has been working with the FTA since 2013, helping the haulage company maintain best practice.
The firm's engineering policies and procedures across the three sites it operates within the Transport for London area (TfL) should all be met.
Speaking about the partnership, Lee Scarlett, FTA's head of contract, said: "Tower Transit has implemented new procedures and practices within its engineering department which demonstrate best practice and investment in quality."
Staff at the organisation's three depots, Atlas Road, Westbourne Park and Lea Interchange, have all undergone further training.
All company colleagues are required to demonstrate they meet operating standards, understand health and safety awareness and regulatory compliance between operators and manufacturers.
The haulage firm has also worked with the FTA on a number of alternate services, including the completion of maintenance systems procedures auditing.
