Passengers using the London Underground are to benefit from a new partnership between Amazon and Transport for London (TfL).
Customers will have access to Amazon lockers at Finchley Central and Newbury Park stations and will be able to have orders delivered to these lockers from today (Monday June 30th).
This method of distribution has recently grown in popularity due to the flexibility it provides - deliveries made to Amazon lockers across the county have more than doubled in the past year.
Amazon lockers at tube station car parks allow Londoners to collect the orders they have placed online during their commute, at a time that is convenient for them.
Christopher North, managing director of Amazon.co.uk, said: "We are delighted to have teamed up with TfL to bring the convenience of Amazon lockers to an even greater number of London commuters."
The system works by allowing customers to select a locker location when they place an online order. They are then given a unique code which enables them to retrieve their items from the locker.
