Menzies Distribution Solutions (Menzies) has won a substantial five-year contract with Ella’s Kitchen, the Oxfordshire based, multi award-winning maker of organic baby and toddler food, sold in supermarkets internationally.
Awarded following a competitive tender in Q4 2021, the new work comprises the handling of approximately 5,000 pallets representing 170 SKUs, with products from across continental Europe and the UK. The logistics solution includes UK, Ireland and continental deliveries to major retailers and premium outlets. A dedicated account manager will oversee the account from the Menzies Distribution Centre at Wakefield.
Ella’s Kitchen was set up to promote healthy eating amongst babies and young children. They’re a highly entrepreneurial and values driven company with sales of over £80m and plans to grow significantly in the coming years. The company are the market leader in the UK but are also sold in over 40 countries across the world. They are a brand recognised for high quality ingredients and ethical credentials. Ella’s is part of the Hain Celestial group and are also an accredited B’Corp.
