Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (Coca-Cola HBC) has signed a deal with Sedex to improve transparency in its supply chain.
The agreement will facilitate the sharing and management of data within its supply chain. It will allow Coca-Cola to effectively monitor supply standards and improve ethical and responsible business practices.
As a result of the partnership, Coca-Cola HBC will be able to easily access its supplier data to see where risks lie. This will enable it to take swift corrective action when deficiencies occur and to promote continual improvements.
The partnership will allow suppliers to share ethical information and audits with Coca-Cola HBC, saving time and resources.
Gary Brewster, operational sustainability and primary packaging director at Coca-Cola HBC, said: "By increasing visibility throughout our supply chain Sedex will help us collaborate with our suppliers and ultimately ensure the long-term sustainability of our products and our business."
Sedex claims to provide the world’s largest collaborative platform for supply chain data.
