The new contract builds on Wincanton’s long-term collaborative relationship with Neal’s Yard Remedies, which began in 2008 and sees the Group provide a nationwide fulfilment service for the retailer’s network of stores as well as wholesale and retail partners.
Orders will be distributed from Wincanton's Cygnia’s facility in Northampton, one of the Group’s first sites to become carbon neutral, and will include the provision of value-added services, such as a bespoke gifting service and in-order sampling.
Carl Moore, Managing Director of e-Fulfilment at the Wincanton Group, said:
Neal’s Yard Remedies is a brand that we have had a strong working relationship with for well over a decade and we are pleased to expand our services to them into their direct-to-consumer offering.
The widening of our mandate for Neal’s Yard Remedies demonstrates the value Cygnia is bringing to the wider Wincanton Group and the value of our robotics solutions to better serve our mid-market customers’ direct-to-consumer supply chains.
