In his first New Year Honours List as monarch, King Charles III has awarded a knighthood to Dr Martin Read CBE, Chairman, Wincanton plc for services to industry and for public and voluntary service. 

Anthony (Tony) Poulter, Non-Executive Director, DfT has been recognised with OBE for services to the transport industry. 

Jennie Kristina Martin FCILT, Director General, ITS-UK has been recognised with an MBE, for services to transport technology. 

Richard Charles Barrington Stevens DL FCILT, Managing Director, Go South West has been recognised with an MBE, for services to transport and to the community in Plymouth. 

Abimbola Felix Oluwasona CMILT, The Royal Logistics Corps has also been recognised with an MBE.

The New Year Honours List recognises the achievements of those from across the UK. This year a total of 1,107 people are recognised with honours in the 2023 New Year Honours List. This New Year’s Honours List marks the first to be rubber-stamped by King Charles III. See the full list here.
