The CILT Board would like to co-opt up to 3 new members to increase the breadth of skills, experience and representation from across the communities and disciplines within the Institute’s membership.
Applications would be particularly welcomed from those with skills and experience in Communication, Human Resources, Legal and/or Finance.
As a Board member you would need to attend at least 5 of 6 meetings which are held each year. The meetings are on weekdays and are usually around 3 hours. We hold most Board meetings online but one or two will be in person for preference though these could also be attended remotely. Board members are also expected to join one or more of the governance committees which might involve another few meetings each year of around an hour each. Co-options are for a 2-year term and can be renewed.
We think the process should take a few months so the new co-opted members would join by the November Board meeting.
If you think you could contribute to the future of the Institute as a Board member, or would like more information before deciding to apply please email: accounts@ciltuk.org.uk
We will respond with a short form for you to provide an outline of your skills and experience which the Board will use to consider who would likely be the best fit.
