Jet2.com has chosen Wincanton to be their dedicated transport partner managing delivery of the leisure airline’s retail products to airports across the UK.

The new multi-million-pound 150,000 square foot Retail Operations Centre in Cheshire is the storage facility where Wincanton will transport goods to storage facilities at UK airports.

The centre is the first of its kind within the UK aviation industry, hoping to set a new standard for Customer-First service, efficiency and security.

Wincanton said they will also implement its Control Tower technology to drive Jet2.com’s network strategy. This innovation will achieve accurate, real-time visibility on the location of stock, proof of delivery, and optimisation of resources, ensuring a sustainable transport offering and improving customer experience.
