Delivery service provider DX Group has reopened even more former Tuffnells deports taking their total to 13 out of 15.
The 15,190 square foot facility in Stafford is the latest edition to reopen, sued to support DX Group’s parcel networks as part of the DX Express division.
Paul Ibbetson, Chief Executive Officer of DX (Group) plc, commented: “The opening of the Stafford depot means that we have now reopened 13 of the 15 depots that we took on from Tuffnells’ Administrators in late June.
“It increases the capacity and capability of our Express Parcels operation, which is growing strongly, and delivers further efficiencies, environmental and customer service benefits.
“Expanding and improving the depot network underpins the continued successful delivery of our growth plans, and we look forward to reporting on further openings over the forthcoming months”.
DX Group’s full year results report for the financial year ended July 1 reflected that DX has added 700 former Tuffnells customers and over 350 former Tuffnells employers with estimates that its market share in the IDW market has grown from 15% to around 25%.
