Dutch Logistics service Provider Bleckmann has announced they are to control the logistics operations for popular fashion brand Superdry at ‘The Duke’ site in Burton on Trent.
The transition will take place from July 1 and will see 170 employees transfer to Bleckmann under the same terms and conditions they are currently working under.
Bleckmann has said they expect to attract new customers to this warehouse and create more jobs in the region with no redundancies planned.
Reinardt van Oel, Chief Operations Officer Belgium and UK at Bleckmann said: “At the European mainland Superdry has been a client since 2007 and we are proud that we also will do their logistics in the United Kingdom.”
The company is committed to ensuring a smooth and successful transition for all employees, maintaining operational excellence and upholding the high standards set by both Bleckmann and Superdry, the logistics provider highlighted.
