Routing solutions provider, Fluent Cargo, has secured a partnership with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to upgrade its global supply chain offering.
The collaboration will see Hellmann Worldwide Logistics expand its service offering by integrating Fluent Cargo’s multimodal technology for freight planning and routing.
Fluent Cargo said their Smart Solutions Product, SmartAir!, will allow Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to decide on the best air freight route for their unique needs.
The routing solutions providers explained the tool is for real-time monitoring of air freight movements and their CO2 emissions.
According to Fluent Cargo, the data collected will allow the German logistics provider to be more proactive in air freight planning.
Users will be able to lower carbon footprints and lead times based on smarter, more informed decisions, the company said.
