GXO Logistics has renewed its long-standing contract with global fashion brand Guess, continuing operations in Italy and the Netherlands for nearly another decade.
The logistics agreement covers comprehensive services across two key European markets.
In Italy, GXO operates a dedicated bonded site providing omnichannel logistics services for bags, footwear and outlets.
Services include quality control, value-added processes like price tag labelling and radio frequency identification (RFID), and business-to-consumer services for Southwest Europe.
The Netherlands facility manages a bonded warehouse for clothing, handling complex tax operations related to imports and exports.
According to GXO the company has continuously optimised operations through advanced technological solutions, including ProGlove scanners, garment sorters, parcel sorters, and auto-inducting machines.
Paul Mohan, Managing Director for Continental Europe at GXO, commented on the extension: "We're pleased to extend our partnership with Guess in Europe, which will now span more than two decades.
“Since the start of our partnership in 2011, we've leveraged our expertise to deploy cutting edge solutions that have enhanced capacity, efficiency, safety and sustainability.”
GXO additionally mentioned that future technology implementations are planned, with Automated Goods Vehicles (AGVs) set to be introduced in the Netherlands in the coming months.
Initiatives to reduce environmental impacts have also been launched GXO said, implementing eco-friendly packaging adapted to logistics environments, installing LED lighting, increasing landfill diversion, and introducing a direct staffing model in Italy.
